So I sandblasted it. Lots more rust than I thought it had but then that's normal right? This was supposed to be a quick blast/prime and paint. Ya RIGHT!!! So the bottom of the door and the bottom of the outer box are the worst. Makes sense the water went to the bottom of the tank... Bottom of door Stating to replace the gasket surface Gasket surface done and now working on the rolled edge Then it started to rain so the vehicles had to come back in the garage and all work on the Fridge stopped. Watching the rain with a refreshment in hand at the moment.

It's been a while. I got a bit sidetracked on something else. So I decided to make my own version of feet For one thing "Keep-in-time" hasn't had any for sale for a while and I wanted something that was PART of the fridge. So here's my version. This is not coming off So I've done all the bodywork (grrrrr I hate bodywork) to all the parts and wet sanded the main box as well as the legs so those should have their final color coat tomorrow. Whether I get the color on the top(refrigeration unit) tomorrow and the door remains to be seen. There's a storm front coming Thursday so..... I paint outside so it's very weather dependent. Good thing I live in SoCal (honestly I think that's the only good thing about living here but that's a whole nother conversation) the weather that is. Anyways I'll update you guys when they have color on them. I'm looking forward to the legs with color on them.

Nice work on the feet. I love the weld, mine are never that pretty. Thanks. The welding is all about practice and with that comes the knowledge of how to make the puddle do what you want. Mostly practice.

It kind of looks like you used flux core wire. Is that the case? Either way, nice work. I'm doing something similar with casters for one that is going to have to move around a lot.

I think the excessive spatter was from the less than perfect (read previously rusty and then sand blasted) legs. Quick pass with the roloc disc cleaned up the spatter.

Thank you for not adding an "L" to "spatter" like the majority of people that I talk to.

Nice swanky red backdrop to your leg. It's as if the monitor top is going to a gentleman's club!
