Update. Work has come to a screeching halt on my CA. The screeching was from me in pain from a bout of Diverticulitis. I have never had this before and it started coming on just before Thanksgiving. I am getting over it with the help of a double dose of antibiotics and hope to get back to work on it soon but with the Holidays quickly approaching it might not be a lot of progress.😫

Well, see, there you go. Get past 29 years old, your body does it's best to remind you that it was only intended to last about 30 years. From then on you can expect it to shanghai you whenever you least expect. Welcome to my world.......

Recovered from the diverticulitis in time for the holidays only to get the flu. Too cold out in the garage to move forward on my CA. I tried to heat the garage with my 30k btu heater but it takes 5 hours and tons of propane. Not ideal for work.

Thank you Rick for this wonderful thread. Used it several times for reference, and again today, when I had 2 wires reversed. I also have a CA-2-A15. I don't think my painting will be nearly a good as yours. Heck, I don't think my painting skills are that great at all.

Thanks for the accolades. The only trick I know is patience, especially if you are painting. A crappy paint job is the rushed paint job. I have not touched my CA due to some unfortunate family issues. All I can say is love your family, we aren't here for very long.

Thanks for the accolades. The only trick I know is patience, especially if you are painting. A crappy paint job is the rushed paint job. I have not touched my CA due to some unfortunate family issues. All I can say is love your family, we aren't here for very long. Believe me, I do. My mother lives next door here on the ranch, and I see my father and his side of the family several times a year. Spent quite a bit of time with my grandmothers before they passed, and I pass on your advice to all my friends with family on their way out. I think one of my problems with painting is that it was all outdoors. I've had dog hairs, goat hairs, and bugs get caught in my paint. Unfortunately, the only other place to paint is actual living space, which doesn't work out. On the plus side, it still looks better than it did. Now if it only worked properly... 38 degrees after being on for about 27 hours, without any breaks!
