Hi I just found a GE Type CK2 C16 model 6158733 and I am trying to understand how to move this to my house safely. I see that you can remove the top and move in 2 parts. Can this be safely moved since it has sulfur-dioxide? Thanks for any advice as I am excited to add this to my home!

It can safely be moved! You will need to either strap the top down securely, or remove it. There are several forum posts showing different ways to do this task. The key point is not to tip the assembled fridge over on its side, because that will allow the top to fall off, and that is how lines get broken. I'm fortunate to have an overhead hoist in my shop, so that I don't have to do this the hard way. Others have success with tipping the cabinet over partially, on a dolly, and removing the top from that position. It takes three people. One to tip it with the dolly, and two on each side to take the cooling unit off by hand and set it aside. The top weighs about 100 to 150 pounds if I remember. Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in! Sincerely, David
