Talked with the guy, and the control unit doesn't appear to be in that great of condition. Not sure if it's busted or not. I'll see if I can get a really good price on it, otherwise it'll probably need a new controller. Doubt I'll be able to get one though, so I'll probably keep searching

It would be good to have for parts, if it's cheap enough. There are parts controls here and there, so if any individual pieces missing, it would probably be easier to ask for parts of the control.

No offense, but I wouldn't go after such a poor example of a D2. I generally agree, though for $50, it's as good a parts unit as any. Besides, what's the fun of getting something that's already in nice condition? I do have my eyes on an original CA though, looks to be in much better condition, though the price reflects that.
