I just placed an order for 36 cans of "refrigerant". It was even slightly cheaper than I mentioned Gill. $2.89 a can with free shipping!

Update time: so far the CG has been behaving pretty good on 152a. When the load is low the front of the coil doesn't frost as much but it tends to run about 4-5 mins and be off 40 mins. I think the control has a bit to much differential. In 95 hours in a 60 f garage it ate me out of 18 cents.
The Dr2 got some more burping three nights ago and seemed to not like it at first. Frost line dropped more than planed. I left it cycle and it was working ok. That night we had a power outage, now sure how long but both units defrosted. The Cg came right back on and worked. The Dr was running in what sounded like a vacuum and the evap was not cold much at all. I shut the DR off and right away I heard the float release and it has been running for 2 days now. I think the 152a condenses into the mineral oil easier than so2 and the power outage was long enough to let the oil cool to much. Or the float on this unit is sticking at times? I also think the DR needs an ounce or two more back in it. It doesn't have enough to get the proper flywheel effect of the flooded evap right now. Only on for 50 seconds and then off about 5 min.
As for the shelf not frosting in the DR I believe this is somewhat normal during low load, the manual covers this. It is frosting more with less 152a but gets better if I keep opening the door to add load.
I haven't been measuring evaps temps but should have been. The CG with the suction line still crimped it getting down to 3 f at the end of the cycle. Haven't checked the DR. The 152a seems to be running colder than so2. And since it seems to run colder someone it thinking is might work good in a freezer, so ckfan it is not the DR3 that is next.

Oh my, an air duster DRF4! That will be a hoot. Hopefully it doesn't give you as much trouble as this poor DR is giving you now. Its great that the CG is running so well on it but I am surprised that the float is acting up so much. Aren't the scotch yoke and DR floats pretty similar? I know that at some point during the scotch yoke series they changed the shape of the float but that is all I know.
