Does anyone know the correct name of the paper board they used to make fan shrouds for condenser coils? I am having no luck finding a suitable replacement. I have always made them out of sheet metal in the past but this one needs to look more original.

I'm not sure what they called it. Is that from your coldspot?

I'm not sure what they called it. Is that from your coldspot? No from a old Royal Crown Cola cooler I am working on for the antique store.

It's very similar to the material used as a substrate for custom automotive upholstery. The trimmers call it "water board". Try an upholstery supply house.

Wow, that's fantastic. If you've got a material question, just ask Doug!
Gill, I've never seen an RC cola machine older than the 80s in real life. That must be pretty rare.

I always thought that was just plain Masonite board? Used in car interiors that is.
