I very well may be wrong, nut I am pretty sure that Bohn only made the cabinet. Bohn had an ice box that they called the "Syphon Refrigerator". I would imagine that this is a Bohn cabinet made for a Frigidaire cooling unit. Bohn bought the Seeger Refrigerator Company by the way. I know that wasn't much help. Sorry.

thank you for the reply, I was wondering why the cooling unit reads Frigidaire

It's an old ice box that's been outfitted with a Frigidaire evaporator and likely once a belt-driven compressor.

Travis is that a low side float evap?. I bet it could be made to cool again with another unit and some work.

Yes. The float is built into the top of the evaporator.

The bottom doors look to not be part of the refrigerated area. A unit might have been down there at one time?

The unit could have been behind the lower pair of doors. Sometimes the unit was installed in the basement though. It's odd that they didn't just buy a 1928-30 Frigidaire, since they already had the evaporator from one.

Either way that evap looks to be in great condition.

You guys are correct about the bottom compartment. I added a new picture to my original post. I dont know anything about the mechanics of these things. I am however a mechanical fix it type guy. Can someone give me a description of what it would take to get it to work again? Also I'm thinking I might just remove the old fridgedare evaporator. It probably doesnt have much value and would give it to someone if I go that rout.
