I just bought this unit this weekend. I put a new belt on it and oiled the Delco Motor on it and it runs but no cooling. I want to know if any on here knows where I can get a service manual on this unit. I have to get this unit going no matter what. It was HELL to move but got out of the basement of a home in Chicago. The cabinet on the outside an inside are in excellent shape and no chips. If you want you can call me at 608-371-3619. Thanks David Gray *BTW can't locate the Model# nowhere!!!!! Attachments:

Looks like I have nothing on a Frigidair of that vintage. My 1935 book doesn't cover Frigidair at all. Have you found a model# yet?

That is a very nice looking fridge! I talked to a local appliance repair tech a while back and he said that he had a customer who's family had been using a belt drive Frigidaire similar to yours since new. It was still working! Apparently if you keep them running and do the maintenance they will stay sealed and happy. He said that all he had to do was change out a belt about once every 5 years. Hopefully you can get some info on how to replace the shaft seals on the compressor if they need it and get it up and running again.
Also, do I see a cool International Harvester freezer in the background? I would love to have one of those!
