Well the oldest boy and his girlfriend just bought a house and were planning to use the his 50 Westinghouse for their main fridge. It has so much rust damage at the bottom that I gave them the spacemaker to put in their kitchen. The house was built about 1948 so it kinda should be there. I know they are enjoying showing it off to friends already. Now if she doesn't try to defrost it they will have cold food and drinks.

Shame it's not a left hand door. That placement looks like it's going to be awkward to use.

I'd be afraid that a left handed door would fall victim to that window sill pretty quickly. No one likes a dented door. But it would be a lot more convenient.

They plan to put foam on the counter but it will not be enough I am afraid. I told them they need to find some vintage metal cabinets. We could put a narrower top on them. They could pull it out more but it would be out pretty far to do much good
