Went on a service call last Friday in Seattle. A lady had a DR2 that was sick. Model# D2A16.
I grabbed my service valve adapter and was going to check pressures ect. and it wouldn't screw onto the float service valve.
It seemed to be the right external size, but the thread pitch seemed different,and it would only go on about 1 turn.
After taking a close look it seems that the thread pitch was indeed different. I didn't have my thread pitch guage with me but it looked like the threads were more coarse than I have seen before. Anybody seen this before?
