Here's an interesting pic I found from this part of the world. collection.hht.net.au/firsthhtpictures/picturerecord.jsp?recno=31157The blurb says it's from 1941, and the address is a suburb in Sydney. The pic is quite high res for something off the internet. The two knob control, with that style of knob, would appear to date the fridge from around 1935. The Storador shelves are interesting - it would appear that it's the Canadian version of the CF, so as to get around Crosley's Shelvador patent. Unless of course GE in the U.S. was able to produce them like this for export only. I wonder how much the door insulation is compromised by having the shelves partly recessed into the door. Not sure if I'm keen on the idea of open containers of liquid that I see in there.
