Well as my luck usually goes I get back from a trip and my coke machine isn't making it's normal humming sound. So I get to looking at the lower fan now isn't working. So find this fan motor at the local refrigerator place and install it. Not to big a deal. Get it all back together and installed . Looks like the old one and works. It is pulling air in from the back of the machine across the rear core and all the while kind of blowing on the compressor. The line going to the compressor is cooling and sweeting but the machine isn't getting cold. I have unplugged it to "see" if maybe something got hot and needs to reset, but don't think that will work as I don't have that kind of luck. Any pointers?

If the suction line going to the compressor is sweating, that would indicate that the compressor is running and pumping. It may also indicate an over charge of refrigerant. Of course we always have to ask “what changed?” when something breaks. It is entirely possible that damage occurred if the compressor was running for a long time without a working condenser fan. Hard to say. Is the fan inside the cooler working fine still? No appreciable cooling going on in there? Does the compressor sound normal now that the condenser fan motor has been replaced?

Compressor is quite , no abnormal noise. Yes the top fan is working also. I need to get my old gauges and check it to see what the charge is. May just be low. I will keep you posted.
