Picked up a monitor top and after over an hour of searching the interwebs I've only found 2 pictures of this and not much info. It's a CK-26-A16. S/N:6404615 Needs total rewire. I dangerously spliced in a cord and let it run for 4 hours with the cold rheostat turned about 80%. With a infrared thermometer the freezer shows 3° at the front and 9° further back. The center shelf of the cabinet shows 34°. to about 80%.

Did you discover any more about your GE? I have the same model #6404555. Trying to get YOM. Mine says sodium chloride for refrigerant.

All CK machines used SO2 or sulphur dioxide refrigerant. The 1933 and 1934 CA machines used methyl formate. Sodium chloride is a solid and is not a refrigerant. Another name for sodium chloride is "table salt."
