I have a lovely CJ-2-A16 in excellent working order that I bought at auction for $200 about 2 years ago. It has the LB6-C cabinet which has a flat face, not the lines running down it. I'd love to have the piece that sits under the evaporator but what I really need is the door for the evaporator/freezer section. The problem is, I can't find a picture of what that door should look like on this model. Does anyone have a picture of one? (sorry it looks dirty in the pictures, it had just come home and has since been cleaned up and it is in great shape) Thanks for any help on this! Nicole

Beautiful fridge! I don't have an example of a door, but hopefully someone here has a picture.

Thanks for the compliment :-)
I have seen that door but I suspect it is the wrong one. The racks inside that fridge are not the same and I'll bet the door of the fridge has the same ridges as the door of the freezer you've shown. That's my dilemma, I seem to have a somewhat rare cabinet with a flat door...

That's my dilemma, I seem to have a somewhat rare cabinet with a flat door... It's very possible that it is different from what yours originally had. Sad fact is, most of us are just happy to locate an evaporator door which fits, even if it might be a different year or style. I'm not saying that is going to be acceptable to everyone. Just saying that evaporator doors are extremely hard to find, and most people will not sell them if they have them, because we all of us who restore or collect fridges have a need for them. I would recommend you buy whatever comes up; and then keep looking for an exact correct one. Just my opinion!
