I gotta thank the people of this forum but especially turbokinetic for his amazing YouTube videos. Another one saved from the scrap heap.

Any idea where to get the gasket/weatherstripping for the top panel? The doir gasket must have been replaced as it's nice and soft, but the one on the top panel is hard and crumbling and missing chunks.

As for the top gasket, I find that Lowe's M-D window weatherstripping "D" profile, will do a perfect job. The smallest size works great for CF top cover gaskets.

Ok, after a few days I noticed it never cut off. Take a look at the t stat and the bellows are not moving. Pulled the one off the parts fridge, it was real similar but not exact. The knobs wouldn't interchange and the other knob wouldn't work on my fridge. Took parts from the original one to make the replacement one fit and my knob fit. Now it seems to cycle as it should. One thing that surprises me is this thing doesn't make a sound once it's cooled off.

I wish they made dehumidifiers that were quiet! I have to pile 50 pounds of sand on mine to settle it down some. It's really amazing how quiet these old refrigerators are when they are running properly.
