I have been a member since the beginning as some others also have. I've collected these things for over twenty years. I realize that many members just want some quick advice and may not know what they have, what a part is called, how to best use the forum, etc. I would like to offer my assistance to help get you started or provide an answer to some of the common questions. The most active members communicate with each other. We all have areas in which our knowledge excels.
Feel free to send an email to: gemonitortopforum@gmail.com. One of us will get back to you shortly. Please keep in mind that we all have jobs and lives to attend to before we work with our old refrigerators.

Is there a conversion kit available to convert to a more modern frig? Thanks If you mean to convert to more modern refrigerant; there are people here who can advise on which refrigerants are best to use for which different Monitor Top fridge models. If you're looking for a "kit" to install a modern cooling system into a Monitor Top fridge while abandoning the original machinery you're on your own. Very few of us here will appreciate or support that sort of modification. Sincerely, David

Wayne , that’s a good question. In short there is no kit, or something you can buy on Amazon . That I’m aware of to convert a monitor top to a newer refrigerant . I’m assuming that’s what you’re asking about. But some members have used other refrigerants with great success here on the forum. If that’s what you’re looking for , look around on the forum . Then repost ,we need to know what you’re trying to do .
