Hi All,
i just bought a GE CK-30-D16 Fridge and found this treasure trove of forum info.
Reading this forum i am super stoked that it might actually work. Definitely needs to be rewired before even considering plugging it in. In a few days will post pictures and ask some questions.
Questions: what does the CK 30 and D16, stand for? Is the CK 30 just the cooling monitor unit on top? What size is this fridge? Is there a place i can buy the shelves? My box is in excellent condition but with no shelves. Excluding the bad wiring. thanks all.

CK is the model - monitor top with Scotch yoke compressor and SO2 refrigerant. The 3 in the 30 is the size designation. It's the largest of the monitor tops. And, yes, CK-30 refers only to the top unit - it can be used with a variety of cabinets, each with their own model number. D is the form designation, which essentially shows it's a later development to the A,B,C variants . 1 is for 110V operation, and 6 is for 60 cycles (although this also covers 50 cycles for CK and later machines).

Thank y’all for the info. Hopefully get some pics tomorrow. Spent evening cleaning this big boy up. It was really dirty from its barn life.
