Hello Everyone, Currently I'm in a bit of a quandary. After rewiring the top unit I need to re-insolate but with what? I've seen some use polyurathane sheets, and others use the spray foam.
What do all of you find better? Also what do you all replace the no-ox-id seal with?

I dunno if I would be the right one to comment on this, as most my insulation is good. But I do know that 3M makes a brown duct tape that looks pretty close to the color of the oxide cloth. Here's the color photos.app.goo.gl/ANVgTzZeigjjq3yf8

If you're talking about the fluff insulation stuffed between the bottom of the compressor and the top of the evaporator mounting plate; you can get a similar brown fiberglass stuffing at Lowe's or Home Depot. They sell small packages of it in the John Mansville brand.
I really wouldn't use spray foam in this area because it would make future service a lot more difficult.hhh
