I tried a search but no luck. I saw a picture of a CK being transported with the top removed, I am going to pick up my CK tomorrow and I want to build a cradle so I can haul it. Need the dimensions if someone could be so kind.

Richard,
Take a look in the CK manual in this section. The images show the depth and length of the deck. You need the crate to be slightly taller than the height of the evaporator, also shown.

Can you advise as to what page? I need to get to sleep and will be busy tomorrow if I want to gety out of work at a reasonable hour, before my 4 hour expedition to go get this thing.

Thanks again, cradle is built,just waiting on 5:00! I'm pretty exited. I'll be on the lookout for an old stove next, and an early KitchenAid. I am remodeling my house with all antique appliances. I already have many many cast iron/brass blade fans.
