Here are some pictures a Facebook friend sent me to share here. These are of his friend's refrigerator. They are in Argentina, hence the 220V 50~ rating.
Appears to have all original compressor setup; working and still using SO2..
Sincerely,
David

Wow very nice, it looks very similar to my Westinghouse. Except my Westinghouse is not belt drive. Looks like it stood the test of time. Assume they are still using it?

Oh wow! I never thought I’d see one of these with the original rotary compressor! So cool! This is the compressor that Travis’s hotpoint unit would have had originally.

Yeah I thought it was neat to see, as well. Maybe some day a video will surface of this machine in operation. Wow very nice, it looks very similar to my Westinghouse. Except my Westinghouse is not belt drive. Looks like it stood the test of time. Assume they are still using it? The styling was very boxy on most appliances back in these days it seems! They looked similar, no doubt. I realize in the picture above, there is no belt installed on the compressor. These pictures may have been taken during restoration works before the belt went on. I was told this unit is functional now, if turned on - but it's not run every day.
