On the Australian ebay is this Canadian version of the CF-1 www.ebay.com.au/itm/183044002667I've saved the pics on Flickr for when the ad expires www.flickr.com/photos/13469158@N05/albums/72157665231526628Note that like the Canadian monitor tops, the flat top is also equipped with door shelves. As I've said elsewhere, I presume this is is because Crosley's "Shelvador" patent wasn't applicable outside the U.S. It's tempting to go and get it because the price is right, and it's only 1.5hrs drive away. Problem is I just don't have the room, and I would expect the weight of it would be the same as a complete monitor top, making it rather difficult to move.

Go get it. They're not that bad to move. They don't fall apart on you and they're not top heavy!
Look at it, it's so tiny!

They aren't that heavy; I'm 140 Lb soaking wet and I've loaded many similar in a pickup bed. Assuming that 745 Lb transformer comes separately of course.

According to the Scotch Yoke manual, the 5 cu. ft. CF-1 is only 110 lbs. Quite a surprise. I've decided to compromise, and will bid if no one else does. If past experience is anything to go by, most people won't touch a non working vintage fridge, especially one with an unfamiliar (and dangerous sounding) refrigerant.

Remember that the weight listed is for the unit only. The cabinet will weigh a little more but shouldn’t be bad.

Surely they didn't ship the refrigerating system separately on those?

I promise not to bid against you!
I think they listed the shipping weight on the units as there were too many variations of the cabinets. If this was a porcelain model, the weight would be much greater.

Fantastic find, great price (at the moment).. *and* it's within driving distance (right?). Would it fit in your model T?

Peer pressure got to love it . I don’t think you have to worry about anyone bidding against you here it’s just a little to far .

Since they were removable they just listed the weight of the unit itself.

John,
No one bid twice. It needs you.
