If the unit kicks on and is getting cold at all the compressor and the rest of the refrigerant system should be ok. You have what is called an FEA unit. They are very reliable but you will need to get the fan working. I was able to get a fan on my FEA unit to free up and spin properly. You need to find the oil hole for the fan and put some 10-20 weight (non detergent) oil into the fan. Let it sit for a few days and then come back and spin the fan back and forth with your finger. You can also spray some WD-40 on the fan shaft but not in the oil hole. Look up my post in the FEA section to see how I freed up my fan.
You may have to rewire the unit too if you find evidence of wire that will be a hazard to use. Good luck, these units work very well but you will have to get that fan going before anything else.

Welcome!
You have an FEA unit which is evident by your first picture. There's a whole section dealing with the FEA units, it's under technical and the last category.

Yep all the info you need is in the FEA section. How to change the fan and lots of other good info. These used R-12 originally and were very reliable systems. Try using a temporary fan to push air through the coil and see if it works better then.
Welcome to the forum and good luck!

Thanks for everyone help! And thanks for welcoming me to the group. So you guys are saying if it kicks on I should be in good shape. Like I said there was frost completely covered on the two lines in the back and a little frost on the shelf that's attached to the compressor I hope I can get her going

You have an FEA D unit on a 1931 or 1932 cabinet. I don't know much more specific about that. I normally ignore those units.

There's nothing wrong with an FEA, I just have focused my interest to the DR series. Others here have focused on the CA's or the CK's. The FEA's were designed as replacements for the older units. Though they work fine, I find their design to be boring. They do work very well though.
