Hmmm that chiller tray doesn't look original. Are you leaving the original paint and how has the cap tube been?

It's actually a photographic developing dish. Getting a GE dish posted here is frightfully expensive, so I will probably find a generic ribbed glass dish to use. The paint is actually quite good except for where it's been worn off around the cabinet top edge. If it wasn't for the fact the cabinet has to be restored, I would have left it. The paint I used on the CA-2 works well, although takes a long time to harden, so will use that. As for the cap tube, I couldn't be happier - it's working great. It is just so nice to see it get so cold so fast every time I turn it on; unlike the cantankerous float valve in the CA-2. It was about 7 weeks ago that I filled this machine, and still no sign of NCG's.
