Hi All,
First off I’d like to say, I have never seen anything like it before. I was under the impression that the door hinges and latch screwed directly into the body. But then I noticed some sort of assembly that’s riveted to the inside of the cabinet, that provides the threads for the machine screw to go into. I have no Idea what such an assembly would be called. So with that out of the way, The problem I am now facing is the lack of thread assembly on my door latch. Because upon reassembling the door the threaded assembly for the latch broke off and fell down inside of the wall of the cabinet. So therefore I have no threads for the screws to go into. Have any of you experienced such a problem? And if so how would you go about fixing that? Because quite frankly I’m out of ideas. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jesse

Can the threaded plate or whatever it is be retrieved by unscrewing the Textolite strip?
