Hello all, The '32 Frigidaire belt drive project is really coming together, but I'm missing one very important part. At some point the door catch (AKA strike, snap) was removed. So, please keep me in mind if you come across one. I've linked a couple pics of what I'm looking for. Thanks so much Gary www.flickr.com/gp/59858323@N02/197Z4X

I'll keep my eyes open. I regularly search Ebay and other sites for spare parts for my '50 Frigidaire. If you can somehow get a part number that helps. You can Google the part number with "Frigidaire" either in front or behind it. That's actually how I found the light guard for mine.

Gary send me your email address and I’ll send you a picture of what I have to make sure it will work.

I have a (1938?) GM Frigidaire which is almost complete. The door closer mechanism doesn’t catch. It might be a spring issue (but I can’t figure out how it’s supposed to work). The door has an elongated button that you push to open. I am new to this. I will try and figure out how to enclose a picture. I am trying to either locate a “catch” that works or where I could ship mine to be repaired... Also, my door has 3 hinges and the center hinge is missing. I like to fine another hinge too. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, iceman

I likely have those, but I’m nowhere near my storage now.
