I took a trip with my four-year old sun to see a friend in Upstate NY, and caught this on the way back near Bloomsburg, PA: It was from a collector who had a Huge stockpile of stuff; he had wanted to paint it in an Oakland A's theme (guess which part would be the baseball), but never had time. One of the first things I noticed was that the serial number was odd; #7006545. The leading 7 usually mean 1937, and the CG form B was produced in 1936. I wonder if they still had enough CG parts left over to manufacture a few of them in early 1937? It ran well, though the start relay was a little loud. Unfortunately, as seems the case with a number of CGs on this forum, it won't shut off. Even pulling out the knob all the way does nothing: Gotta read the thread about removing the control Really high frost line on this one: Right now, it's the only fridge to have made it to the new house so far My six-year-old daughter fell in love with it. She wants one for her room that she can paint, and has been asking me if I found another yet...

I’m really happy you found one! At least it runs. Now you just have to get it to stop!

The CG controls parts seem to get a lot more moisture exposure. May be sticking up. Good luck, glad you joined the CG club!!
