The Westinghouse my older boy brought home has a rather unique cold control. the start relay is built into it. I thought about trying to replace contacts in it but the contact disk that snaps back and forth was gonna be hard to duplicate. Plus even if I got it fixed the contacts in the start relay would still be old. So I decided to make a new control. Making a box to mount a new Ranco control and a new start relay. Not the fastest way but it should work. I have about 4 hours in it so far. Had to use part of the old control to make a shaft adapter so I can use the original knob.
