Saturday I am heading off to pick up another FEA refrig to join my first one. This one has the blue knob made out of unobtainium, so I want to be really careful removing it to take the cover off to secure the compressor for transport. Does it just pull straight out?
Thanks, Bill.

Bill congratulations on getting a second fea . I have not seen one myself so I can’t answer your question about the blue knob . But I would think it has a set screw or something smiler that holds it on . Apparently yours is missing on the one you have.

Correct, but one of two isn't bad. I think I read somewhere here about 3D printing new knobs? If the one on my new machine is a good sample, we could use it to produce more.

Kevin (joneske) has a friend that does 3 D printing. He’s made some parts for these old fridges in the past . There is also company’s now that we’ll do it for a price of course.

Nope, it just pulls right out. That’s why they are pretty rare.

Don’t see why they can’t be 3/d printed . If their that rear and hard to find . The guy that made up the the inline cabinet light plug could reproduce them. He would have to have one to copy .
