DR control getting new main contacts from a new donor 30 ampere contactor. On this machine I want to retain the on-off switch function with the little flag that has on-off painted white and visible through the cover. This will also allow me to have a second overload with manual reset. Have not decided if it gets a new Ranco thermostat or Dixell electronic stat. Attachments:

I have ground off the rivets to free the contacts on the DR control and used the same procedure to remove the new contacts. After I clean everything up and polish up the old steel I will solder the contacts in place from the back. So far it seems promising and I am excited to see the end result

Ok so you are using only the contacts. What type of solder do you plan to use?
