Could someone please help me with information on how to find the correct year and possibly value of a GE monitor top fridge FEA-2-A16 / 44-101-973. Very good running condition. Would like to sell it but getting different information from other sites. Attachments:

Welcome to the forum. It appears that you have a very nice 1933, 7 cubic foot porcelain cabinet. It would originally have had a CA-2-A16 top on it. The "Soup Can" top. The FEA units were replacement units offered by GE when they no longer serviced the hermetically sealed Monitor Tops. I believe, judging by the serial number, that yours was manufactured in 1944. As for value, someone else will have to chime in. The cabinet is very desirable, but the top? Not so much, unfortunately.

Timeswelding is right. The cabinet looks nice but the tops aren't worth very much. The FEA might not be as pretty as the other tops but it sure is reliable. Unusually so. You have a good combo there that should be rock solid.

That's a nice 1933 cabinet. It looks like you're missing the original shelves also.
Value is somewhat dependent on where you live. Around here, that would sell for $100. The most logical buyer for your fridge would be someone with a CA or CK unit that needs a better cabinet, but has shelves.
FEA units are rock solid and should be saved, but they have no visual appeal.
