Wow, talk about an early model. Too bad it's said to not work. Not that this group couldn't fix it of course.

Yeah. There's even what looks like a form A control in Winnipeg that can be used to restore it to it's original glory. It could even have a bolted float too. If we weren't about to leave for a business trip overseas (and in the middle of selling a house), I'd totally go for it.

The DR-2 form D or E in Sacramento is more likely than not a WWII era Bridgeport, CT rebuild. The evaporator is dark blue/black and all the pig evaporators that are this color that I've ever seen are on rebuilds. I can't help but wonder if the problem isn't in the control. I sure do wish that something like this would show up in the Chicago area. They seem to be very few and far between around here.

Jim,
You may be right about that.
I had a DR3 once that had dark blue evaporators once. Sadly, it was very stalled. I am in contact with the seller, but if anyone really wants it, I'll step aside.

Travis, you actually need the one on the Edison cabinet. I never thought I'd say this, but, that's one that you don't have!

Doug,
I made an offer. I had that cabinet before, but it had been Kegaratored. I threw it out and kept the 40 fin unit.

OK, I got this. Don't ask me why, but I did. Ray wouldn't even back me up on it.

Whoever call "Hoarders" on me is going to be killed. I will also be forced to execute a half dozen CA's in order to not be a "hoarder". The death of 7 CA form A's would be a small price to pay to prevent public ridicule, IMO.
