cabelhack, that drawing shows a filter in the so2 system. Does your book possibly elaborate on what type it is? Maybe just a strainer but if it is a filter and/or drier sure would like to know what they put inside of it for so2.

There's no other details on the Crosley other than that, but I do remember as I flipped through the book the only mention of a dehydrator was used for the low pressure Grunow that used Carrene - but even then no description was given. The book it came from is the 1939 edition of this catalog.hathitrust.org/Record/001590258

Ok thanks, I have had no luck so far myself when I try to find a filter compatible with so2.

Comes as a liquid. Either 11# or 39# bottles. I get it at oxarc welding here in Yakima. Relatively cheap.. It's used a lot up here in the winemaking industry as a fumigant and sterilizer I am told. Have to purchase the adapter fitting that fits the tank so you can screw your guage set to it,then your all set. Does the cylinder have a dip tube? Do you charge with liquid or gas? No dip tube. Turn upside down and charge as a liquid.

I have 2 of these and the filter is just a strainer fitting that has a compression ferrule sealing the cap tube

My Crosley Shelvador, not sure of the year. Was told this was first fridge to have shelves in the door. Notice the Good Housekeeping Seal Hi, I'm looking for a handle of my Shelvador refrigerator (It's 60 years old). Do you sell spare parts or have this part? Thanks in advance.

Sorry but I have no extra cabinet parts. I am also needing a latch for my other 1932 Crosley belt drive.

Very interested is it all intact does it still have the belt drive that works I have a 35 Crosley all original belt drive original charge works perfectly I started my career on antique refrigerators 40 years ago on 48 Crosley I rebuild belt drives also and charge with so2 I read somebody said they want to know what type of dryer was used with so2 I've got a book on all the proper driers for the different refrigerants back then I will look it up you can't use a modern dryer with so2 it will disintegrate.
