Ah!! I love that machine! There are a couple of these here where i live in an antique store. They need total rewire and MAJOR cleaning. They want $750 a piece for them. I dont even have 200 in my CK, parts and all LOL. They crazy! My dad looked at me and said "Damn you need to get a few of these things, restore and sell". While that DID cross my mind...i know myself better than that. I wouldnt be able to part with them, id end up with one in every room of the house and be giving them as gifts lol. Bad financial choice for me hehehehe You hear that Travis? Sounds like we have another candidate for a house filled with Monitor Tops.

I turned down a globe top a while back that Travis had available through his friend. Now I'm regretting that. Once I get more money, space, and have other projects cleared off I will definitely get a globe top.

The dude said it was working until recently, thinks the motor is locked up. Pretty sure it can be jolted free!

I retract that! He wants 250 and wont come off the price any. If it were in better shape i MIGHT would say yes. It will stay on craigslist a LONG time at that price. He has it advertised as a storage cabinet lol.

Ah, that is too bad. $250 is pretty high for something that isn't working. If it was in flawless shape cosmetically, maybe. Big maybe. The motor might be fine, could be a start relay issue. Then again, it could be fried.

Thats what i said. $100 wouldnt be bad, worst case senerio, it be fried and id have a nice little storage cabinet. 100 wouldnt bother me...but if i paid 250 for something that wouldnt work....id be so mad at myself!

250 is too much for an unrestored stalled balltop. I sold two that ran and cooled for $250 each. I would say $125-150.

You tried. I figure any fridge that I want is worth $150. I am somewhat selective anymore in what comes home.
