Gill, You can come play with it too! For that I will drive down there to play with it. Don't think I will ever see another one like it.

Hey, I am the one bid. That thing is coming home with me. How I am going to move it remains to be seen. If that's true I am holding the 28 DR3 for ransom till you give me the Electromaster I have no room for Didn't know one of us was the other bidder! I had lined up Christmas gift escrow and was going for whatever it takes. But if you want I will bow out but you got to promise me first shot if you decide to let it go. :-)

I would love it. I have a 1950's Maytag chest freezer, but this one is much cooler. I'll happily let you know when I need to let it go.

Well I hope Travis is a proud owner of an Electromaster Deep freeze today. Looks like there was a full line of their products for him to find to go with it. www.shorpy.com/node/4202

Yes, I am debating about going to fetch it versus shipping. I am not sure if I can get it in my stupid baby truck. I am excited regardless. Don't tell the DR3 I am cheating on it.

Don't think it will fit in your truck myself. The DR3 will not think your cheating when you set that sexy freezer next to it! They should mate up great together.

I don't think it will either. I have to find a couple real men to get it and bring it down to me. I figure it's heavy.

The freezer is coming the first part of the week. It weighs in at 480 lbs. That blew away my guess of 350. Fortunately, some things are leaving my garage tomorrow. It may have to live in there until some big men come and get it in the house.

The ElectroMaster has landed in the garage. It's going to take half an army to get it inside the house. It's pretty great. I'll post some pictures when I can get it moved. It weighs 4 x me, so it might be awhile.

Now that I see how cool this freezer is, I might just block the door going to my back room and move the freezer into the kitchen.

Does it cool? I noticed the ebay ad stated it worked but didn't know if that means it runs or runs and still is full of Freon. If it is full of Freon still I would be temped to try not to leave it in the cold garage all winter. Shaft seal might leak easier in the cold. I know you may not have any choice till the kitchen is done though.

I only let it run briefly. It was loud. I need to get it moved inside. I am not sure who I am going to beg to do that yet. The plumber is coming on Thursday, maybe he will bring his son.
