Anyone know who makes rubber footpads for GE Monitor Fridge?

Look on ebay. There was a guy there that was making them.
Why would you not post this question in one of the few threads about foot pads?

I have been busy and not tracking the power use of the Ginny pigs. They have however all three still been running. (I only rested them about a week several months ago) They have been doing great still. Coldest the garage has gotten so far is 50F. They just keep purring away with no unusual sounds so far. Just out of curiosity - were the Ginnys still running through the cold of January, happily purring away all this time

Yes they were! I have been needing to update this, guess it is time. I left them all run till close to the end of January. By this time they had been running in the garage thru some real cold weather. I was very busy at work so not out there running any heat most of the time. My garage was getting down to the mid 20s. It seemed weird that they even would cycle on when it was 25 but they occasionally still did. So did my 38 flat top with so2. They all purred along without rattling the few times they would run.
Several times when I did need some heat out there I warmed it up 30 degrees real fast. This did make things change. Ginny #1 didn't seem to mind it too much. Ginny #2 with the brine evap was another story. Its long run cycle did cause some rattling from refrigerant in the cold oil. Wasn't real bad though, I felt comfortable with it and left it run and it would cycle off when it got cold enough. Of course Ginny #3 could have cared less and ran without rattle.

That's fantastic - it seems that the R124 passed the cold ambient test with flying colours! Compare this to the R152a experiment (e.g. here and here), where the refrigerant was eager to condense in the oil and cause rattling. It's *very* impressive that the DRs (especially old Ginny 2) run with no apparent problem at 25F ambient. I didn't think that was even possible!

The 152a would never have worked that good. I see no reason to not use R124 in place of so2!

I see no reason to not use R124 in place of so2! Agreed. All the Ginnys have done remarkably well with no apparent ill effects. Thank you so much for all the hard work, measurements, and videos! I'm thinking that's even better than with SO2. They notoriously didn't much like very cold (or very hot) ambients. Yes, it has got to be better. I'm still amazed at how well they were doing when it was below freezing. My DR1 (still on SO2) didn't seem to like it when temps got too far below 50 or so. Bring out the champagne! I’m calling it! Heck yeah!

I said that DR's don't much like the cold or hot. The scotch yoke compressors (CK's, flat tops) don't much care.
