I recently got a fridge identical to the one pictured. The evaporator (freezer) door is missing. I'm looking to buy one or trade something for one if anyone has a lead. Please feel free to send a message via the forum or other means if you have them. Many thanks! Sincerely, David

Hi David. There's a seller on Ebay, justinzerwekh, who has a lot of vintage refrigerator parts for sale. Freezer doors, shelves, etc. for many different makes. I think he's a restoration company. Perhaps if you reach out to him he'll have your door. He does have other 49 Frigidaire parts listed. Good luck. Hope that helps!

Got some more info on this: Model DL-86-P Evaporator door is 25” wide 9” tall estimated by position of hinge posts. Door could be taller possibly.

D=Deluxe, L=1949, 86=8.6 cubic foot capacity, P=Porcelain finish. Frigidaire offered a porcelain finish and a painted finish in the Deluxe line with an 8.2 cubic foot capacity in 1949. If you get a seller who's parting out a DL-86 with no P on the end of the model number it's the same fridge as what you have. Just a painted finish instead of a porcelain finish.

I love the old Frigidaire nomenclature.
