Alright guys, sorry to dig this one back up. So the compressor did ultimately fail. I've since ordered a new compressor or equal HP (1/8 hp) and am attempting to install it. Since the old compressor had a burn out, once it was cut out I attempted to flush the lines. I can't seem to get a very healthy flow of anything through either line. That being said, the liquid line (or whatever its properly called) that runs from the bottom of the fridge at the condenser up to the evaporator is 1/8" OD (not sure on ID). My question is, is the small line my reason for the restriction or should I be looking elsewhere? I can post pictures of the refrigerant circuit if needed. Thanks in advance!

You'll have to cut a line at the evaporator, solder in some fittings, and get full flow access through the evaporator. The capillary tube is not going to permit any flushing of the evaporator. The coils will need full bore flow of the flushing solvent to get them clean and remove all the Liquid Death oil from the system. Don't forget to install a new filter-drier between the condenser, and the capillary tube as well.

I am in the middle of such a job at the moment; at my home shop. However, I am at my "Real job" and not able to get pictures. Check this one out, though. You may appreciate how hard someone with zero skills tried to get it working with scrap-heap junk. https://youtu.be/4Rl6cbh2_rU
