Our fatass governor had his order of another month shot down by a federal judge today. Interesting to see how Illinois opens back up.

Hello everyone!
Just thought I’d add to this thread. My brother had the Coronavirus and has survived. He said it was the worst he has been sick full week in bed , high temperatures, and no energy to do anything. He has recovered but still not completely himself.
It’s not something to take lightly, some people are! I understand it can infect people differently you may not know you even have it but let’s not be stupid about it! It’s something that can spread by the simplest of things. Touch , cough , sneeze, any person contacts. As states have opened its risen so just be careful. I think personally we are going to get hit with another wave.,
BE AWARE AND KEEP YOUR DISTANCE!!!

Very glad to hear your Brother is recovering! You are right, this is not something to be taken lightly! My Niece's Mother In Law caught the virus. She was living in a nursing home with dementia. She was 76 years old and passed away! But a friend of my Mother's, who is 100 years old, caught the virus while recovering from a fall in a different nursing home, and she's fine now! I also believe a second wave is coming so now is not the time to let your guard down! In New Jersey, where I live, we've been hit especially hard! The number of new cases have been falling but we're still seeing several hundred a day. Personally I think we're opening up too soon! I hope I'm wrong! Stay safe, stay diligent, and stay healthy everyone!

I got the vaccine and yet folks around here are attempting to shame those that are following the CDC guidelines and not wear a mask.
I went inside the local bank for the first time in over a year. I didn’t go inside to push the issue. I went inside as I was pulling a trailer. An employee welcomed me and it was great to move around. I also went to Lowe’s and to lunch. I wore my mask at the restaurant per their sign for the 10 feet to the table and to exit.
Please wear a mask if it makes you feel better, but please stop shaming those that don’t.

I've been fully vaccinated since the end of March. I still wear my mask when I go shopping and if I'm around others at work. I have to say that my comfort level has gone up immensely about being in stores and just out among people in general. But I haven't stopped my regimen of hand washing, changing my clothes, etc. when I get home. I still don't feel comfortable going to a restaurant or getting take out. We have people at work who will not get vaccinated or wear a mask, unless told by the supervisor to do so, because they feel "it's a hoax." Everyone is respectful of each other's feelings though and there haven't been any mask fights or shaming. I have had people ask me why I still wear my mask. To protect the other people around me who might not be vaccinated yet. Plus it does boost my comfort level for now. I know the day will come when I'll be ok about walking into the store without a mask again. But that day is not today! Stay safe and healthy everyone!!
