Paul,
Is this your DR2 with the type C control or your latest DR1? Have you checked the motor leads with a meter and also to ground? That’s your first step after finding it trips the overload.

This is indeed the DR2. Motor leads checked out great, and there was no short to ground. We actually got it unseized tonight briefly, but the heater is plugged in and warming up. I'll update progress in the morning, along with my DR3.
