Hello, it's been a long time since I updated this topic but I couldn't do anything, since it's summer in this part of the world, we had a lot of work to repair refrigerators and air conditioning. Now I took a few days off and I started to check the control, first I connected it and I saw that it didn't work, it just clicked and the compressor didn't start. I disassembled it and found that the contact of the starting part was missing, the rest of the relay and thermostat look good I disassembled a commercial refrigerator relay and I was able to remove the contact it has, and soldered it with tin to what remained of the original plate, now it works great. Then it will be necessary to test that the thermostat works but that is for later Happy to see you're again working on your project! The failure of the relay is a very common problem after all the years of use. You did a great job replacing the contact point. It works smoothly, in the video!

Thanks! The relay is working fine! Today I would like to solder the terminals of the compressor and assemble it to be able to test how it works in the cabinet and if the thermostat works well. One question, when disassembling the upper part, remove a brown insulator. It was in very good condition, is it worth reusing it or is it better to place another insulator?

The brown insulation is Balsam Wool, if I am not mistaken. It is a cellulose product. If it is not deteriorated, there is no reason to change it.
