We are all good here so far, just finding out how hard it is not to touch ones own face. I didn't panic buy but did finally go get a few extra that need no refrigeration Saturday. Need some around for the storm season anyway. Got some gloves and bleach to try to keep clean at work with. I hope all the efforts to flatten the curve help out.

I'm ok here in NJ but things are getting a little crazy! A statewide curfew goes into effect on Wednesday (3/18). No one is to be out between 8pm and 5am! Stores have been mobbed! You can't get toilet paper, bottled water, bread, milk, eggs, ground beef, cleaning supplies, or canned goods at most places! Movie Theaters, gyms, and motor vehicle agencies are closed until further notice! Bars and restaurants are closed except for take out and delivery orders. No dining in! All schools will close effective Wednesday as well! I have been slowly stocking up the past few weeks and am pretty much ready for a statewide shut down. On the refrigerator front I bought a second 1950 Frigidaire DM-90P back in December. So I now have 3 vintage refrigerators and 1 modern fridge. I bought the second Frigidaire just because it was in good shape and the price was right. It didn't work. The seller said it wouldn't do anything when you turned it on. Within hours of getting it home I had it running and cooling! It needed a compressor relay and a new power cord. Plus a good cleaning! Well I'm thankful I have it as it's filled to capacity, as are my other 3 fridges, with enough frozen food and drinks for a 3 week shut down if it comes to that! I hope everything is well with all of you too!! Everyone stay healthy and remember to wash your hands more frequently than usual! I also have had to learn to stop touching my face!! Hahaha!

Yes it’s getting crazy out there . I think if people practice some common sense it we’ll get better faster . Then common sense isn’t so common anymore!

Hopefully everyone is doing well here. I thought this board would be quite busy during quarantine but with the nice weather finally hitting a lot of us are swamped with yard work and “honey do” projects.
I have one small fridge project but it’ll have to wait for a Rainey day.
Take care!!

Well that’s one good thing we are going into spring, so lots of outside work to do . I expect a lot more attention to people’s yards this year . So hopefully people will put some of there social time into there house or yard or something at home.
‘’Had to go to the grocery store today was surprised not many people there. First time I have been out in two weeks. Most people seemed to have just a few items. I had a whole cart full ,don’t plan on going back for at least another two weeks if not longer . Other than toilet paper the shelves were fully stocked. If you are not working why risk it ! Stay at home and work on your fridges ! Or what ever is your interest.

So far so good here in NJ. As the coronavirus cases have soared we're all required to wear a facial covering to go shopping! People are still panic buying and many retailers have placed limits on the quantity of certain items you can buy. Toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer and hand soap, if you can find them, are one to a customer per visit. I've been using the time off to get some much needed cleaning out done. My attic and basement are now junk free! I took a trunk load of stuff to the Goodwill Store earlier this week. My second run in the past few weeks. The stores themselves are closed but they are still accepting donations, thank God! Three other people were there with donations. Two pick up trucks and a van who, like me, had a lot of stuff to donate. Looks like everyone is doing the same thing. Lots of people are working in their yards too. You can see piles of sticks and brush by the side of the streets waiting for pickup. The young man who does my yard work for me came by earlier this week. He's in high school. He likes being home and going to school on the computer. But he misses being able to play sports! I hope everyone else is safe and healthy too!

The worthless governor of Illinois has extended our restrictions to end of may for 2 reasons. Because he thinks we're all Chicago and are to be instructed and monitored on how to live in his fifedom.
And mainly, he's playing chicken with the federal government to get a bailout that will kick the failed government pension system can further down the road at the expense of every small business and private citizen residing here...unless, of course, they work for or have a pension from the government. That way the rest of America can foot the bill for his corrupt government.
Personally, I'm fine but hundreds of close associates are suffering and the longer we stay closed, the worse it gets...
Rant over... Admins delete if you like but I imagine other states are pretty much like Illinois.

Also involved a garbage truck. This control period they dreamed up has made our normal slower time of year even slower but so far we are good and as soon as it gets hot my phone will ring way too much. People will still want AC. Almost all the hospitals are doing nothing. Time to open up more than this. Travis has been to the Track Inn restaurant in my town. It closed during this. She is trying to sell it.
