The coldest I've seen it get, as measured midway with a K-type thermocouple, is 14.9. I didn't leave it on long enough to see if it went down. The frost line is definitely at the top of the header tanks. It needs to be a lot colder than that; well into the single digits. Another one for a capillary tube I'd say.

And maybe a new bellows; at random times, it stays off for a while, long enough for the evap to defrost itself, to the point where turning the dial from 1 to 9 doesn't do shit. I'll probably end up giving my mother the CA Form B, since this one is causing problems now, or use this outside for keeping water cool for my employees.
