Hello Stan l also use an I pad and have the same problem, with my old I pad it would post no problem but since I updated to a new iPad I get the same problem. I believe it’s the resolution of the picture my new iPad is more than double the old . So i crop and cut as much as I can to make it work. But I found the best way is to take a picture with my iPhone and email to my self save it to pictures than use it to post. It’s not efficient but it seems to work.

If you can take a screen shot or "grab" of the picture, the file size of the screen shot will be much smaller than the file size of the original pic.

Let's see if this works (posting pics) Um, you know you have to use the "Reply" button and not the "Quick reply" to post pics, right?

I've read here in the forum that the FEA units were fairly trouble free and reliable. Out of Curiosity.. How common is it for these FEA units to develop internal leaks?

Stan,
I've never had one leak. That being said, it's a 70 year old unit. The failure mode gets more difficult as anything ages.

Thanks guys. I'm on my way to try to get another FEA unit tomorrow as a replacment ..so had to ask. I started wondering about the internal leak mine apparently developed.. Had my leak been only at the joint, or somewhere at or near the fill port the guy that came would have been able to fix it, but since its internal, it makes things more complicated, and a more expensive repair Hopefully this will be the fix, and allow me to keep my old girl. BTW my cabinet is marked G-55. Any info about that? I'm assuming it had a DR unit originally?

Stan,
It's a 1931/32 cabinet that would have had a D2.

Up date.. Went today to get the FEA unit, but called before I left town, turned out that the FEA unit he had did not work. I explained that I only had 65 inches of height. He called back and said he had a couple that were under that height, so I made the trip. I wanted to find something that would fit my space, and a top that would fit my existing cabinet.. Just to have the option of possibly using my cabinet with a CK top. Bought a CK unit from him that fits as is, as the cabinet is a little shorter than mine...and also would fit on my existing cabinet. Have not determined if I can use my cabinet with the CK unit yet.. Machine is still sitting in the truck (tomorrow's project) To use as is, the cabinet will need some TLC..paint, handle, hinges repaired, cord replaced ect. As best as I can tell (learning here) it is a CK 15 A with a cylindrical float valve. Evaporator is smaller than my FEA. The CK seems to run (very quite) and cycles My question now is.. if..("if" being the operative word here) I'm able to put this unit on my G-55 cabinet.. (making a kind of a mongrel machine) will it be overing working because it would be cooling a little larger space?

Stan,
You have my email. Send me a picture of what you brought home. The CK 15 wil cool either cabinet just fine.
