I think Ray got the image. I did! I’ve just been way to busy to post it. I’m currently riding to Kansas City for work.

Well, it's finally here! Sorry I kept you all waiting for so long. I've been going through some strange and busy times here lately. The photos that I got from the gentleman, for $50, are in this google drive folder here: drive.google.com/open?id=0B8_jm7K-ahMabnFZbGN4LTgyYmcTo be honest they really aren't that good of quality and are quite blurry when the detail gets fine. The normal sized text is all legible but the good housekeeping logo, even when I had him retake it as a close up, is just too blurry for the super fine text surrounding the logo. The whole situation has me excited and sad at the same time. I'm happy that we finally have something close to a full CA decal. I'm also sad that the experience could have been much better. It's just a messed up situation and part of the reason I hesitated to post for a long while is the simple fact that the pictures aren't good quality even though I paid for them and had him retake some shots! Oh well, beggars can't be choosers. This stuff is super rare. Joneske, let me know what you think about these and if you think Rob can make heads or tails out of any of this. I haven't edited anything, this is how it came to me. The new pictures are the 12 that aren't titled with a proper name. Hopefully we can make something out of this mess!

In any case, it might be possible to trace the shapes and make a vector image.

By the time he got around to taking the photos I had forgotten about it. Dang! I'm not sure what you mean about a vector image though. I know nothing about image editing.

What kind of camera was he using Ray ? Maybe a better camera and more light would help. For 50$ he should give you all the pictures you want .

Yes, he cared about the money. He also tried to sell the whole fridge for a reasonable price, but no one would make the drive. It was sad to see those shelves get sold on eBay knowing the unit would likely get scrapped.
I thought about it, but I already had two in excess of my needs.

Yes sir, I guess he was just trying to get all he could out of it since he was more than likely going to scrap the most of it..

And while I’m not very happy, I understand why he did what he did. At least now I have something to work with to make a usable reproduction.

That’s a shame but you think he would drop the price just to get rid of it .

I think he started at $150-200. He later went to $300 or so after he had it moved upstairs. The shelves sold for $130. If someone sells you an antique fridge for less than $100, they just want it gone or they want you to have it.
Some people are very stubborn about losing money, others accept it and move on.

I’ll share this folder with Rob and see what he says. Most likely it will help if someone can transcribe the text.
